I left my cell phone in my knapsack on the bus this morning. I was returning home after Mass. It was my first bus trip with my walker. Talk about a panic attack!

Fortunately, my purse, which contained my keys, wallet, and bus pass, was slung over my shoulder. Unable to catch up with the bus at the transit station, the on-site supervisor said my only option was to wait three days and pick it up at the OC Transpo lost and found.

My stepson told me to download the “Find My Device” app and log into it with the G-mail account I used to set up my Android phone. We tracked my phone to the bus garage, drove there, and retrieved the knapsack.

My friend who accompanied me has a love-hate relationship with technology. I’m totally in love
