Am I the only one who is fed up with image issues--fed up enough to stop using them entirely and just self-publish? I was delighted when short-form became a thing. No image required. I'm up for having quoted text on a coloured background for an image. Who needs more than that.

People read books without pictures. I'm sure they could get used to online reading without them as long as there was sufficient white space. Maybe we could have quotes in a different but still neutral colour.
