Because I joined Medium in late 2020, I have nothing to be disappointed in. I have eyes on my words, more than I had any reason to expect. I have people who liked what they saw enough to follow me. I've found a strategy to engage with other writers and thoroughly enjoy the community of writers. There are SO many awesome articles to read on SO many topics.

Six months and two weeks into this journey and I have 165 followers. My total earnings in this six months isn't enough for a fast food meal and that's fine with me.

I guess it's a matter of experience (lack of it on my part), but I see NOTHING to whine about.
