Between my bookshelves, my ebooks and my Amazon wish list, I'll never have the hours or intellectual energy to passively read, much less critically read a fraction of what I've collected. I'm OK with that. They're an expression of what I'm interested in, what I care enough to learn about.

I read as much as I can and I want to learn how to read more actively, to annotate and summarize, and to use whatever techniques I need to so that I can "keep" what I read.
