Definitely Medium should let us know there’s a limit and what it is. Maybe once we’ve reached that limit, they could include one of those horrid captcha thingies. It would be an extra annoying step, but at least you could continue responding.

Even if Medium were to do this, it might only work on the website and not on tablet which is where I do everything for Medium except write my articles.
