I Don’t Belong Here!

A poem based on a prompt

Photo by Daniel Olah on Unsplash

What am I doing? Why am I here?

The grass is blue. The sky is green.

There’s nothing familiar. Who put me here?

I don’t belong here — I know I don’t.

I don’t know how or why I know

They have silver heads and gold skin
