I first heard about blogging in an article advising aspiring writers to start one. The purpose was to encourage a regular writing habit. When I researched blogging, I completely lost interest. I wasn't interested in the marketing or technical expertise you needed. I just wanted a place to write articles that had a clean consistent look. Most of all, I didn't want a niche.

Medium is perfect for my needs. I had more eyes on my writing the first month than I did for several years on my other blog. No complaints about Medium whatever!
