I hate the same things about technology that you mentioned. My husband is over 75 and is not technically inclined. He struggles a lot and fortunately, I can help him with most things.

Being vision-impaired, my favourite aspect of technology is e-reading. I can make the font as big as I want and the book doesn't get any heavier. On mobile devices, I get really frustrated with sites or apps that don't let me pinch-out to zoom in on things. Even a magnifying glass is little help.
