I know very little about AI and don't know where to start. I'd like to use it to generate ideas, to narrow down a general topic, to generate an outline for that narrow topic and to do the research. When I google how to use AI for research, the hits I get are for academic or scientific research. That's way beyond what I'm interested in or capable of understanding.

It's just starting to dawn on me that ChatGPT is not the only tool. Maybe it's just the guts inside all the other AI language tools out there. Is there AI that does a search and only lists what is actually relevant? SO many times, I find most browsers return mostly useless hits.
