I like simplicity. Left to myself, there’s be no images — a real NO-NO on Medium! This is a very helpful article and it raised two questions in my mind.

-- Since boldface and italics are both used for emphasis, how do you know when bold is better than italics and vice-versa?

--You mention “bigger paragraphs”. Most advice for online writing recommends a maximum of three sentences per paragraph. Is Medium different? What is the longest paragraph that would be appropriate?
