I started on Medium as a reader. I can't imagine a better place to express my ideas. The interface is easy to use and the posts have a beautiful uniformity in their look and feel. I can write about as many topics as I want--no niche required. People engage and I feel "visible". People see me. They clap and respond. After two years on my Wordpress blog, I had 14 followers. In the same amount of time on Medium, I had over 300 of them.

I won't cancel my subscription unless I can either no longer read or permanently lose access to the internet.
