I was in my 30s when I first tried coffee. I'd gone to the nurse's office at work because I was feeling dizzy while doing some filing. She checked my blood pressure and told me to lie down. It was 98/60. When I asked her what I could do about this since I'm horrible at remembering to take pills, she suggested caffiene.
When I asked her what contained this, she first suggested chocolate. I knew the LAST thing I needed was an excuse to eat chocloate, I asked what else and she said "coffee". I've been drinking it ever since. I loved how it made me feel. Now I'm almost as addicted to coffee as I am to sugar.
There are definitely worse addictions!
