i'm far more likely to share to social media from another site than I am to actually visit the social media site itself.

I go online to very few places and these I visit with very specific intentions. "Surfing" is overwhelming, not relaxing.

As for Medium, instead of reading what "shows up", I can go to a specific pub or author that I follow and read the first five stories I see.
