I'm not in the least bit interested in building a business and having a presence on YouTube or other blogs. Whether writing on Medium is worth it depends on what you expect from it and what it takes to satisfy you.

I'm a hobby writer. I'm likely in the minority, but I don't think I'm the only one here who doesn't care much about earning much. I have yet to earn more than $4 in a month, probably because I don't write regularly. I'm OK with that?
