I'm not really sure what value followers have on Medium. Does a writer with 120 followers earn more than one with just 20? I'm not sure. I think the reason I have 120 now is because I have spent a lot of time reading and responding to articles.

I often don't feel like writing so I read Medium articles and respond to them.

I have one note file where I copy and paste titles of articles I want to read. I have another one where I copy and paste titles of articles I want to respond to. That's the one I go to when I have "time to write" but don't feel like writing.

I don't intend to ever stop reading articles and responding to them.
