It never bothers me when a publication rejects one of my stories. I figure it's because the story didn't fit the vision they had for their pub, not because my piece was terrible.

If they reject it, I might get lucky if they give me some feedback I can learn from. That's worth more than getting accepted. A work colleague once told me that you learn more from the programs that bomb than from the ones that run clean.
