Learning Latin has been in my “bucket list” since I retired. I studied it in high school and loved it. I don’t feel the least interest in learning German despite the fact I was born there (military family). I enjoy the Vocabulary.com app that quizzes you on words in a way that really helps you learn them. I bookmarked the online Etymology dictionary you mentioned.

Quick tips never help you achieve anything worthwhile. If you want something enough, you’ll be willing to sacrifice other activities and to apply effort consistently and persistently over a significant period of time. When did this concept become so foreign in our culture?
