My life is simple in SO many ways! Other peoples' opinions of me have been irrelevant since I was ten years old. I've chosen a path that doesn't require much in the way of material posessions and nothing in the way of status or prestige.

I've learned to let go of perfectionism and be more than content with "good enough" in my personal and professional life (before I retired) and currently with my writing.

Though I'm a detail-oriented person, I'm learning to discern the difference between which details matter and which can be ignored. I do SAS programming. As long as the program has neither syntax nor logic errors, it's good enough.

I prefer to avoid conflict but there have been a few times in my marriage where I had to say difficult things for the ultimate good of our relationship. It takes courage, but the result is worth it. Unless, it's going to affect my life, I let people have their opinions and don't engage.

I keep my life simple. I strive to maintain interior quiet and to focus on the most important thing for that moment.
