Putting a referral link on my stories (writing the text for it) has been on my to-do list for months. A severe case of marketing-aversion is certainly part of it. I think I'd only put it on the articles I write about chess, if I do it at all. I'd include a link to the Getting Into Chess pub since my audience for those articles would be interested in their other articles. I'd then share my Medium profile link in the other places I do chess stuff.
