Since I started with Medium in September 2020, I've been providing longer thoughtful comments on articles. Sometimes these responses turn into short articles that I put into my own publication. I'll tag the writer and link to their article in the first quote I do. The first time I tried this in The Tyranny of the New Idea, I combined responses to several articles. I usually put these in my Gotta Minute publication so I can dispense with an image.

Recently when I respond to articles, I also post their links to my Twitter account. I'll then add a private note to the writer letting them know and asking if they have a Twitter ID. I keep track of these so I can add them to my Medium list on Twitter. This allows me to tag them in my tweet whenever I post any of their articles.
