When my husband and I first married, we were using pagers. My husband got a flip phone and I only got one at his insistence. I found it a real pain for texting because of my vision impairment. A year later I got a smart phone which I only used for calling and texting. Everything else was too small to be of any use. I either used my PC or my tablet.

I recently upgraded my phone. Other than for calls and texts, I use it for reading Medium articles while waiting in lines. Everything else happens on my PC or tablet. Every app has notifications turned off. I flatly REFUSE to have some machine telling me when to do anything!
